Welcome to Our Father's House Recovery Church Network

Finding Freedom Through Faith

We exist for one reason: to see people set free from addiction — and to walk with them all the way there.

Our Father's House is a Christian recovery ministry built on the 12-step programme. We bridge the gap between the anonymous fellowships — AA, NA, CA, GA — and the local church, because we believe lasting recovery is found where community, accountability and faith in Jesus meet.

We are here for anyone affected by addiction. Whether you're fighting it yourself, or watching someone you love struggle — you belong here.

"So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed." — John 8:36

SAVED TO SERVE

Specialised in Faith-Based Recovery and Support for Those Overcoming Addiction.

Through a relationship with Jesus Christ and the work of the 12 steps programme, our lives have been transformed, and our calling today is to bring the same hope we found to those still struggling. Come as you are!

"You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, serve one another humbly in love."

Galatians 5:13

A Journey From Emptiness to Fulfilment

Many of us have walked the road of addiction and know firsthand the emptiness that comes from searching for fulfilment in all the wrong places. For years, even in recovery, I carried a quiet depression — sober, but not free. It wasn't until I encountered Jesus that something in me truly changed.

That encounter lit a fire. I wanted others to find the same freedom and purpose I had discovered. But within the 12-step fellowships, I quickly found that my faith couldn't come with me into the room. The language of "higher power" left a ceiling where I believed there should be a person — Jesus Christ.

So we built something different. A Christian recovery ministry where the 12 steps and the Christian faith don't have to compete — where we can work through the steps and name the one who is actually doing the healing.

We've seen it from both sides: churches that don't know how to talk about addiction, and recovery rooms that don't know how to talk about Jesus. We exist to close that gap.

"Let anyone who is thirsty come to me and drink. Whoever believes in me , as Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them."

John 7:37-38

Who We Are

We are a team of volunteers who know addiction from the inside.

Most of us have been in recovery for years. We are active members of 12-step fellowships — AA, NA, CA — and committed members of our local churches. Addiction has touched every one of us, directly or indirectly. That's not our weakness. It's what makes us effective.

Our goal is simple: to help others find the same joy, freedom and purpose we have found through faith in Jesus.

We also exist to equip churches across the UK and abroad — helping them understand addiction, support those in recovery well, and engage meaningfully with the recovery community.

About Us

Healing Through Christ

At the heart of everything we do is a simple conviction: true healing comes through Jesus. We offer a safe, faith-filled space where people can walk the road of recovery without leaving their faith at the door — or finding it for the first time.

A Faith-Based Approach to the 12 Steps

Our approach combines the structure of the 12-step programme with the love and truth found in Scripture. We provide a space where individuals can work through their recovery journey while openly expressing their faith in Christ.

A Community of Support

We are here to walk alongside those struggling with addiction, offering encouragement, accountability, and a sense of belonging. Whether you are new to recovery or have been on this journey for years, you are welcome to join us. Together, we find strength in community and faith, knowing that with Jesus, true freedom is possible.
